Who’s Jesus?
Authored by Collin Stoddard on February 20, 2017
At Wooddale we believe that God moves through relationships and we call this “discipleship”. People intentionally getting together to talk about the things that God has done with the goal of growing deeper in their relationship with God and one another.
We’re teaching about discipleship through the book of Luke, who journeyed and followed Paul and wrote about Jesus based off the accounts that Paul told.
We’re following the progression of a disciple of Jesus who firsts asks the question, “who is Jesus?” The first step to becoming a follower of Jesus is knowing who we’re following.
We randomly selected eight people and asked them to get into a group together and we taped the conversation. We asked the group to ask each other the real questions they had about Jesus and we’re following this same group of people now into season two of taking a deep walk with Jesus which I’ll post about later.
This message shows the group in their at the beginning of their relationship, answering the first topic I asked them to discuss at our video shoot. So cool to see how much closer they’ve grown over a month and how God has used the group in specific ways for each of them. I’ll share more of those stories later. Watch the video which starts at 15:39.
