Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Collin Stoddard is a Dove-Nominated recording artist, creative developer and worship leader. He leads the worship arts department at Wooddale Church in Minneapolis, MN.
Collin loves time with his wife and family, reading, driving his truck to the hardware store, creating and making things better. Stoddard has three children and lives in the small farming community of Cologne, MN with their Australian Shepherd.
Collin knew he had a unique calling from an early age after being healed from an adverse reaction to tubes as a child. The story of his healing was featured on CBN on the 700 Club and featured in Destiny Image Publisher’s “Modern Day Miracles”. Collin attributes that his ability to hear and music career is nothing short of a miracle.
As a 12-year old, Collin's music career began as a solo entertainer for Gaylord Resort’s Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Through high school he studied classical and jazz music with Leonard Rhodes and Steve Barta. He then went on to study music at Belmont University in Nashville, TN on a music scholarship.
While in Nashville, Collin met Jason Barton and Chris Lockwood and formed the CCM trio 33Miles. Blurring genre lines by combining three differing musical styles and a shared sense of purpose to write songs accessible to sing in church with lyrics pointing people toward Christ, 33Miles signed a record deal with INO Records, and partnerships with Jeff Roberts Booking Agency, Food for the Hungry and Thomas Vasquez Entertainment. Working with producers Nathan Nockles, Sam Mizell and Brown Banister 33Miles released three records, self-titled “33Miles”, “One Life to Love” and a Christmas record entitled “Believe”. Singles, “Thank You” (co-written with Matthew West), “What Could Be Better”, “Jesus Calling” and “There is a God” charted in the top 20 on Billboards AC.
